JL-251/252/253 NEMA Interface DALI Overview:
The JL-251/252/253 series of dimming photocontrols is suitable for automatically managing the brightness of dimmable LED street lights (0~10V) based on the surrounding daylight levels. These devices feature microprocessor circuitry paired with an IR-filtered phototransistor. They are equipped with a robust surge arrester (MOV) to shield the lamp from inrush currents and sudden spikes caused by lightning. Additionally, a built-in 10-second time-delay function guards against overactivation due to vehicle headlights or lightning strikes in the dark. The product ensures consistent dependability, with the relay designed for a service life exceeding 10,000 cycles, and an even longer lifespan when used in conjunction with the optional sandwich cover. This series adheres to ANSI C136.41 standards for twist lock terminals and is UL-listed under the standard for Plug-In, Locking Type Photocontrols for Area Lighting, ANSI/UL773.
